I LOVE Bruce Makowsky!
Opposite to his wife, Kathy Van Zeeland’s bags, Bruce makes his out of ALL LEATHER! His styles are modern still working. His leather is so soft. He uses the best colors and the best hardware. I purchase many of his on QVC, but you may be able to get styles they do not offer at Amazon. A great PLUS! GO FOR IT!

I love this bagI just bought this bag newly and I’m totally in love with it. The leather is surprisingly soft, it holds an amazing total of stuff, looks lasting and is just plain beautiful. I’m considering purchasing the same bag in another color, I love it that much.

Interesting PictureI notice that the pictures of this handbag don’t show vertical zippers on each side of the front of the bag the way a real B. Makowsky buyer does. I know it has vertical zipper pockets on the front because I own one in Brandy. I bought it from QVC, not Amazon. The leather isn’t sticky and the magnetic closure works great and holds. Just from looking at the pictures above I could not purchase this bag here.
I bought the bigger B. Makowsky Lisbon Tote in Shiitake mushroom from and it didn’t look anything like the web site picture. It looked like an ugly knock off to me. Returned it. That cured me of trying to purchase B. Makowsky from Amazon.

On the Fence.I bought this bag yesterday at TJ Maxx for a cheaper price than is offering. I do love the size of the bag and the compartments and the fabric on the inside, but it really is a floppy bag! I do not know if I’m going to get used to that. I still have the tags on it and I’ll keep thinking about it for some days but I should not have to convince myself so it’ll most probably be returned. I bought it in black which is nice and I do agree the leather is nice quality.
I ended up keeping the bag and I really do love it. I had to use it for some days, but so happy that I did 4.6.2009

Fantastic Bag. Perfect size!B. MAKOWSKY Lisbon Shopper
This was my 1st B. Makowsky handbag, and judging by this purchase it’ll not be my last. This bag is smaller than the Lisbon Tote, but has lots of room. The leather is top notch as is the hardware.
I chose the two toned Black/Bone color and I love it! It’s a hard to find color. I can generally tell a good purse by the quality of the inside of the bag. It is in the details.
I have some other bags that are much costly but this one ranks right up there. I can not wait to get other B. Makowsky bags.
