Changes Your Practice,

I have been practicing Hatha yoga for nearly a year now. I noticed everyone had these towels but did not appreciate how great they are! If you sweat many throughout your class, you most likely slip on your mat this removes that annoyance and lets you to practice and sweat without a problem. Another added bonus is that your mat stays clean. If you have an old mat, you’re better off extending the life of your mat by purchasing a yogitoes to put on your mat. Throw them in the wash and it is that easy. I sugggest NOT drying them though. I dried one of mine and it does not stick to the mat also anymore. It air dries fast so there’s no have to put it in the dryer. As well, wash them alone. They tend to bleed in the wash for some number of washes and if you wear light colored gear to class and sweat many, it may get on your clothes in class too particularly with the red towel. I had no problems with the green one. There’s NO disadvantage to this product it just rocks.

I’ve decided just to purchase the white ones. Solves the bleeding problem and bypasses all the above.
That on the side, they are genius mats and there are sure to be imitators on the market soon. One side is covered with rubbery nubs and the other side is smooth, so you may be able to decide how you want to use it. For pilates I use a sticky mat , then turn rubber side down, so no slippage, for hatha I turn rubber side up for toe grips .. cheating I know but there it’s.
They take in sweat well for bikrammers, though big sweaters may still think about the Breathe mats for bikram.

I still skid.,

I’m somewhat disappointed with this product. I projected not to skid at all, and I still slide around a just bit in yoga class. It does do a great job absorbing sweat in hot yoga classes and it also moves around little on my mat, when I jump forward/back. But, I am still looking for something that will assist my hands to stop sliding when I am in down dog. I had hoped this was that solution, but it is not.
