Forget those remote control cars that just scoot across the ground! These Air Hogs Zero Gravity Micro cars moves in three dimensions across the ground, up the wall, and upside down on the ceiling! Smart, groundbreaking Design
Air Hogs makes the only cars that can climb walls, and the Zero Gravity Micro is smaller and faster than the original Air Hogs Zero Gravity Humvee. We were surprised by how small and light the Zero Gravity Micro is, it’s just a thin plastic shell wrapped around a light body with a vacuum in it. Our car was intended to appear like a red race car, but you may be able to decide from other designs available also.

We were able to get the Zero Gravity Micro up and running without any problems. The remote control unit needs six AA batteries not included, and is then used to charge the fitted rechargeable battery in the car. This is done by connecting a cable from the remote control to the car, and flipping the switch to charge mode. Thanks to smart design, this cable may be stowed and hidden away when not being used.

After about half an hour for charging, the car was prepared to go. Now, we set the car to wall climbing mode and set it on our wall. Though we’d read about what it has been supposed to do, we were still impressed when we saw the car stick to the wall and climb. You may be able to see the vacuum working, as there’s a window on the top of the car showing a spinning fan. The car makes quite some sound when it’s in wall mode.

Using the remote, we were able to make the car go up, turn left and right, and go down also. With a tight turning radius, the car is maneuverable and with many practice, you may be able to get the car to do exactly as you wish. Also to Wall mode, there’s also a Ground mode which leaves the fan/vacuum off, and allows you to drive full function on the ground. You have to walk around with the car, but, as the remote has restricted range. This isn’t as big a concern on walls because we were typically pretty close to the wall as the car climbed it.

The car has working headlights that double as a battery indicator when they start to blink, the car is running low on power.

Needs Clean, Smooth Surface
The information warn that the car should be played only on a clean, smooth surface, and they are not kidding. Since the car can stay on walls caused by suction, the moment an inconsistency is presented, the car loses suction and falls off. We found that a surface like glass works well. With our concrete wall, we frequently ran into problems with the car maintaining its suction. Coupled with the car’s light construction, we fear that repeated abuse could cause damage to it.

In general, we found the Air Hogs Zero Gravity Micro to be an groundbreaking and fun toy. We wished it were a bit more hefty and could work on more surfaces, but when we got it going on our window, we were impressed. It is a great new idea and turn on an old toy, and is bound to keep kids mesmerized.

Action Packed Flight Lessons
Featuring a colorful bubble body with blue and yellow details, blinking lights, and plastic rotors, this in depth little helicopter has lots of aesthetic attraction. Before you start flying, you will have to charge your Havoc Stinger. Use a Philips head screwdriver to put six AA batteries not included the each controller. Then input the helicopter into the cord on the controller. Since the plug has small prongs, you will have to take care to seat them properly.

Now it is time to start practicing. You will want to support kids to get familiar with the controls before they attempt and any big time stunt flights, since flying this choppers well takes practice. Also to an on off switch and a switch that allows you to choose the correct channel to control your helicopter, the hand held controller has a throttle stick, a rudder stick, and a button to change for trimming.

While Air Hogs considerately will include extra rear rotors, and our helicopter survived lots of brutal crashes while we learned to fly, it’s made of bubble and lightweight plastic. That means that if your chopper gets stepped on or tossed around, it’s nearly sure to sustain many damage.
