totally love this track. My kids 3 & 6 are having a great time. Lasting, track stays together perfectly. The different track layouts make this fun over and over again. I just have one complaint. This track looks to be real big on the fact that the cars are rechargeable so you do not have to keep purchasing batteries. I could rather purchase batteries. Each car has to sit on the charger for 45 minutes!!! That means if you wait for both cars so you may be able to race you must wait an hour and a half! that’s big for little kids. I could rather just pop in a couple AA batteries and be on your way. Playing, playing, playing and having fun then oops both cars are dead, now we have to wait an hour and a half.

Both of my younger boys wanted this toy much great marketing Fisher Price. They were excited when they received it as a birthday present and they weren’t disappointed when we got it put together and started playing with it. The cars move really fast and with the loop, ramps and barrels the whole family laughed and enjoying the toy in just some minutes. The problem looks to be with the cars. The red car charged & ran good, but after only one charge, the blue car would not charge enough to make the loop. We took it back to where we bought it nationwide toy merchant selling it for $15 less than as faulty and got another set. Just the car could have been ok with me but their choice. Nevertheless got the second one home and same situation. Both cars worked great out of the box, but after one or two charges, the blue car would not get up to speed red car still fine. Its going back again my boys are disappointed as they loved this toy. If Fisher Price had spent many of their marketing $ on quality control for their Chinese maker, maybe they could have had a toy that was good for more than just the one day when you open it!

This playset is the best variant of the Shake n Go’s to date. We have had the other two variants over the past some number of years and while they were liked, they had their restrictions. The best things about this new xtreme playset are: 1 it reconfigurable which gives it many more versatility 2 the cars are fast and have been dependable so far unlike the other reviewer’s comments 3 the loop really works and is a cool feature 4 its more lasting than the other tracks stays together and may be pulled separately and reconfigured comparatively easily by the kids. If there’s a downside, it’s that our other Shake n go’s are not matched with this track. Could be great to have many more car choices at this smaller scale McQueen and the King could be awesome!.

lasting FUN! If I had to describe this item in two words, it could be those. We have four kids, but our two youngest are two and 3. I think, , someone has thought up of something that does not have “hundreds” of little pieces, small kids of all ages can play with it and really love it. I’m a busy mom of four who stays home now to care for my mom full time also. This toy is so fast to put together, I take it separately at night and put it back together in the morning and it takes maybe five mins. Out of my busy day. My three yr. Makes different track designs thoughout the days and my two yr. Feels like he’s really the one making the train go on, so he feels rewarded. You may be able to see his little gears working when he watches how it is put together. With that alone, it is educational

I do not understand many people giving this item a “poor design” or “not durable” ratings. Our train set was sat on, stepped on remember I have four kids, pushed over. This track stays together well an doesn’t fall separately easily. You really have to “unsnap” the pieces.

I give this item a perfect 10! it is the only reason I have gotten other GeoTrax stuff. So I can add to it.

Awesome guys! Bravo!!

This is a great toy. My two year old loves it. He’s able to work the remote, and likes to pull the train around the track. It is not cheap, but considering its durability, its pretty priced.

Pros: very lasting. Exapandable/compatible with other geotrax, configurable, the hill and tunnel are cool. Simple enough for a two year old.

Cons: the track pieces are too hard for a two year old to snap together, its a little deafening with no volume. If it came with a couple other figures that could be cool considering there’s a “station”. Two more figures and a $50 price tag and this could be a five star review.

Battery life is good but not great.

We dont have problem with derailing. It’ll only derail if the hill is now followed by a curve simple physics, it get going pretty fast down the hill, just put a straightaway 1st after the hill and it’ll never derail.

All in all: don’t hesitate to purchase, it really is a pretty cool toy, though it is not perfect.

My four year old does like this train with the cool smokestack but the train design is poor. The smoke goes up and down as it moves which is neat. The train that’s controlled by the remote is permanently attached to the 1st car of the train. The 1st car of the train doesn’t lead the rest of the cars. Because of this, the 1st train frequently derails going down hills and gets my son irritated. It is made just like the “Hauler and Big Rob,” Team which we did not keep because it derails. Not sure why they make the trains this way, it just frustrates my son. Costly too.

Works well on our hardwood floors. Also climbs walls with no problems, works well on ceilings. Surfaces must be flat & smooth. Car itself is light & could most likely be too fragile for a small child. My six & eight yr olds love this toy, the adults want a turn when we have it out. Charger is in the handle, convenient not to have to use an outlet to recharge.

This thing is close to being really cool. Our walls have a slight texture to them, the texture you get from the roller that applies the paint, that is it. So we have pretty smooth walls. The car works great for about one minute when it’s completely charged. After that it only sort of works, it stays on the wall but it’ll not climb up the wall and it behaves erratically. That one minute is really cool it can make it to the top of our 18ft vault and back down but then the fun is over. It runs great on our counter tops which are really smooth but it struggles on our hardwood floors. We have laminate floors which are pretty dang smooth and clean. If it worked great on the floor I could keep it but the laser guidance is just not that fun to work with, a regular car is better on the floor. All in all it’s a great idea but the product needs a bit more work to be great for standard walls. So after mucking with this for about two hours it’s back in the box and won’t make it under the Christmas tree. If you have really really smooth walls or a great big part of glass or metal to run this on it could be awesome!!

My son got this truck for his fifth birthday. So far, it looks to be lasting. It does everything it is supposed to do as seen on TV.. It has a ton of phrases and voice interaction “Make a sound if you want me to dance”. The price looks to be worth it. I could certainly recommend this truck to anybody looking for a fun toy for a boy or girl!

I got this toy for my five year old but my three year old and ten year old love it. It does a ton of different stuff, looks cool, and though my boys have been given it a go it has held up great. Seriously, a great gift or something for the kids. You will not be disappointed.

This is such a neat toy! It does everything you see in the commercial and has held up well to many rough play. It dances, moves around and talks, and my 3 year old thinks it is the coolest truck in the world. His favorite part is when the truck stands up on its hind wheels and dances. It’s a bit more pricey here on this site more reasonable locally but seeing the delight in my son’s face as he explores this robot truck made it all useful. Greatly recommended!
