The counter is tough and works just as projected. But without having a glass on top, it’s hard to get certain things to fit. Ex. I tried to set my Directv receiver on it non DVR. It’s too small and wont fit well. Then I put my old DVD player on it and the legs on the buttom of the DVD player interfer with the legs of the counter. I can push it back, but it does not sit . My new DVD player which is compact and small does not really fit either and just does not look right. Perfect for big AV parts.

The counter could work well for big things, but for compact things it is not focused, or is just plain hard to fit.

No exactly what you plan to put on it.

But it was easy to install and it’s tough. Can hold heavy or stacking things.

It could be perfect if:

1. It had a glass/ plastic counter to set on the mount.

2. It did not stick out as much.

I looked at A/V part shelving alternatives, but for anybody who owned glass in their home, they know it is a ROYAL P.I.T.A. To keep clean. Most of what is available is glass, and I just did not want to deal with that BS again. So I got these instead to mount ABOVE my new 50″ Samsung plasma and hold my digital set top box from Comcast, my home theater receiver, and my VHS/DVD rw combo unit in my bedroom.

I could post a pic, but I am too lazy.

All I can say is, they’re built well, and they have been installed for over a month already and I am happy with the simplicity they offer of just keeping the devices up high and off the ground and out of the way.

Well it holds DVDs. On occasion putting them on the counter is annyoing, because the edge of the dvd may fall between the opening on each level each “shelf” is made up of a part of plastic, a gap and a metal rod.

It was only $20 dollars or but it feels like something that should have cost $8 or $10 as I know you may be able to find many made of particle board for about $30 that are much sturdier.

It is small though, and it fit perfectly where I needed it. It just feels a little cheap.

This rack came in a small box with the parts needed for construction, no extra tools needed. The complete rack consists of plastic frame strengthened by metal bars for each counter, making the complete thing seem somewhat weak or unstable looking. Comes with wall mounters which i did not use, you will have to discuss with somebody else about those. But for the most part, the product is rather stable and my rack of ps2 games has not fallen down still, which i say is a big plus because it is a full 90 dvds. The shelves but themselves are not shelves, it is just like, two bars pretty much, so they on occasion sit in the hole on the counter level rather than the counter itself. I haven’t had any dvd topples or falls or real incidents with it so i say that is more or less a minor setback, but its still there.

At this point I’m pleased with this product, its compact, holds 90 dvds, cheap, and it works. May not be as nice as a real wooden media counter, but hey, you get what you pay for.

I bought this stand because of its smaller size to fit between a fireplace and a window and it works beautifully. The stand comes in many of pieces but goes together fast and easy. There are two wall braces that require being screwed into the wall. This makes it super tough.

FreestyleHaving newly bought the Bose Acoustimass ten Series III Home Theater Speaker System, it quickly became clear to me that the UB 20W wall/ceiling speaker brackets were the only choice when it came to conserving space. As a whole, given the information, a power drill, a 7/32″ drill bit and a Phillips head screwdriver, the installation of these speaker brackets was fast and simple. One note of caution though, the instruction booklet calls for a ” drill bit for drilling the holes for the plastic anchors that are supplied with the kit, a ” drill bit is just a tad too big and will cause you to send the plastic anchor right on through the wall, never to be seen again. A 7/32″ drill bit is perfect for this job!I greatly recommend these wall/ceiling brackets if you are looking at buying any of the above listed Bose speakers. They are perfect for the job and, you buy the white or black ones based on your walls, seamlessly fit right in, not to be noticed. ssintrepid

Used these as a roof mount. Worked well. Installation was pretty easy. Price was right $8 cheaper per bracket than the sale price at Best purchase. One slight draw back is that you may still see the wires but it is not all that noticible.

As most other people commented, this is an excellent stand, tough, classy looking. Easy assembly, maybe 30 40 minutes. Before I bought this, I couldn’t find any information on the clearance of the shelfs, I have a high end receiver Sony STR DG720 that’s about 6.25 inches high, and it was not clear to me if that could fit in any of the shelves on this stand. So here is many information on counter heights and clearance: on the bottom counter, you may be able to fit anything up to 5.25 inches in height, which is more than enough for DVD player, PS2, PS3, etc., but not a high end receiver. The counter above has more clearance, units up to 6.5 inches high slide easily in from the front or back, so my Sony Receiver fits in nicely. Since the glass above which the TV stands on is supported by “domed” metal beams, you really have up to 8.5 inches of height, if you slide any unit onto that counter from the sides. This is because the metal frames the whole unit stand on cover a bit of the total height of the second counter at the front and back, but not on the sides. I really was nearly able to put my center speaker bar over my tall receiver on this counter when sliding it in from the side, there was just a 10th of an inch or so height missing to do that. But since there’s so much horizontal space on both shelves nevertheless that wasn’t needed one can fit three parts side by side on each shelf. So in summary, there’s more than enough height on the second counter for tall electronic units like high end receivers. Hope this is helpful!

I just finished putting this tv stand together in under an hour. Most of it may be finished alone but moving the box 90+ lbs obliged another person. The kit came with everything except for a phillips head screwdriver. It seems really nice paired with my new Samsung LN52A650 52 Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color. The tv stand isn’t as deep as others I owned but it’s enough to house my cable box, xbox 360, wii, and sony blu ray player. The only concern I have is the capability to house a high end receiver. I’m not sure if the top counter is tall enough to accommodate. The shelves aren’t adjustable and since the stand isn’t that tall in the 1st place, there’s nearly no other way to configure. Those concerns on the side, this tv stand is a pretty good purchase for $200.

This OmniMount wall counter is great! This product is inexpensive, stylish and practical. It’s very easy to assemble and mount. I mounted it in an area of my bedroom where space is restricted. Instead of mounting it to the studs, I mounted it to an area of the wall that’s hollow, using anchor plugs and screws. As you may be able to see from the pictures, I have a DVD player and a cable box on the counter and it’s holding up well.

Additionally, the black glass feature is very practical to the extent that if you chose to mount this counter in a high area, you could not be able to see the bottoms of your parts underneath and through the glass. The cable management system is a big plus. Another nice feature is that the counter sits close to the wall unlike the OmniMount ECSB part counter for CRT TVs & Video Accessories, which protrudes much too far from the wall. I greatly recommend this product to anybody looking for a space saving wall counter solution.Omnimount Tria one B 1 Shelf Wall Furniture Black/Dark Glass

my only knock on it could be that there may be more wire concealer, but certainly not a dealbreaker particularly for the price. It’s strong enough to have a cable box and a dvd player stacked on it too, which is just what I wanted for child proofing reasons.

I am pretty picky and I do not typically give five stars. This product is pretty good. It doesn’t include a class counter to set AV part on. But, I think a class counter is needless as it restricts air flow anyway and is just anther thing to clean. This thing is tough and easy to mount. The only thing keeping it from to get a “5″ is the fit and finish. Screw holes were a little off center for securing the counter to the wall bracket. I could also like this to be modular and let many shelves to be linked together and let cables to pass through. Also the price is a bit high considering the simple design and litte materials invlolved in production.

Rating: Great shelving solution at a just price.
This part counter was very easy to mount and works great. It’s good looking and is the ideal solution for a couple of parts mounted out of the way. I’d favor to have the arm swivel so parts may be angled in or out, but the price could most likely be prohibitory.

Rating: Great Floating Shelf
Awesome, inexpensive way to float your parts without a big counter. Very tough when you mount it as directed on a stud in the wall. Give excellent support and has not sagged on give signs of ever sagging.

We ordered this to hold a satellite box below a new flat screen tv in our bedroom. It had to be mounted in the corner and there was no way to do it with the hardware included. My husband had to make a V shaped part out of wood, paint it black &amp, then use it as a bracket to attach the mount to the wall. Works great &amp, looks great but. It could be better if a corner mount choice may be included in the hardware pkg.

This product is easy to install and it seems good with my 42″ LCD TV.

It is pretty good if you have a part of glass to put on this product before puting your parts.
